Evaluation and Planning
Archiphy assists clients in developing and programming their spaces. We interview users to assess their needs and requirements. After the needs are assessed, layout recommendations are provided. Site analysis may be part of the programming stage.
- Schematic Design
This is the first phase in the design of a project and includes the establishment of a conceptual design after the initial detailed conversation with the client. It illustrating scale and relationship of project components: a conceptual site plan, preliminary building plans, elevations and construction materials are established.
- Design Development
In this phase the design moves from schematic to construction documents. It illustrates and describes the refinement of the design. It establishes scope, relationships, and forms. All this is presented through plans, sections, elevations, construction details and equipment layouts. A preliminary specifications manual is established. It identifies major materials and systems and generally establish their quality levels.
- Construction Documents
This phsse sets forth the written and graphical requirements for construction and establishes in detail the quality levels of materials and systems required for the project.
- Bidding and Negotiating
This phase involves the establishment and administration of the bidding process, issuance of addenda, evaluation of proposed substitutions, review of bidder qualifications, analysis of bids, and selection of the contractor.

- Requests for Information
Archiphy will review properly prepared, timely requests by the contractor.
- Evaluations of the Work
As representatives of the client, Archiphy visits the site at intervals appropriate to the stage of the contractor’s operations, or as otherwise agreed by the client and Archiphy.
- Shop Drawing Reviews
Archiphy can coordinate and review architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing shop drawings and correct any inconsistencies or conflicts that may exist between the trades.
